Female Alpaca
Born 6/15/02 while no one was home
16.5 lbs - a good guess

Sire: Remy Martin aka Pugsley - Jefferson Farms
Dam: JFS Mariah
Color: Light Brown with white blaze and white front socks (she's too busy to put on her back socks)

NOT YET PRICED

If presence, strength, personality and thick, dense fleece is what you want, Summer has it.  There's nothing stopping this little one. She's ready for the world. Her mom is a big female with strong maternal instincts and plenty of milk. Her sire throws a wide range of dense, crimpy, colored fleeces.

During a hot summer, you'll wish you had a little Summer Breeze in your pasture.

Female Alpaca
DOB:  Born on the Summer Solstice - 6/21/02 - a fully witnessed birth
14.5 lbs

Sire: Classic Car Bumper
Dam:
Isabella
Color:
Medium brown from head to toe

Price:  not yet priced

We knew about 7:30 am that this would be the day Isabella - our most devoted mom- would give birth. At 10:45 am little Solstice dropped to the ground and started squirming. By high noon the placenta had passed, she was standing, walking and nursing. Good thing we didn't go for a coffee break.

She has a lovely medium brown (with lots of grayish tones) fleece and a gentle, calm personality - like her dad - and all the right female instincts like her mom. Isabella is very proud of her new cria - and so are we. You'll just have to wait to see her at the shows.

Isabella

ID 811727
Female Alpaca
DOB: 7/12/98
Sire: PP Antonio
Dam: Nina's Blaze Star
Color: Medium Fawn

Price $13000
Isabella has beautiful babies - Diablow and Solstice - both from award-winning Jefferson Farms stud, Classic Car bumper. Isabella never lets these lookers out of her sight. She is the BEST mom! No kid of hers will be out after midnight. She's a strong-willed, natural mother with good instincts AND her dense, caramel colored fiber is nothing to sneeze at either. Good foundation stock. She is currently unbred and
ready for your favorite sire.

JFS Mariah

ID 820175
Female Alpaca
DOB 5/10/00
Sire: NWA Maxwell
Dam: CBR Daisy
Color: Medium Fawn/white face

Price: $13000
Mariah is like a warm western wind - gentle and soft. She's a new mom too. Her first cria, Summer Breeze, was born without a hitch and is just like Mom - strong, curious and full of fun. She's a big gal with a strong frame, dense, easily-spun fiber and a very gentle nature. Mariah's a favorite wherever she goes.

diablo.jpg (32515 bytes)   belladiablogreat.jpg (37183 bytes)

ID# 833152
Male
DOB: 6/1/01
Sire: Classic Car Bumper
Dam: Isabella
Color: Dark brown

Price: Not yet priced - he could be a really fine stud

Awards:
2002 4th Halter Santa Fe
2002 1st Halter Estes Park

diablo2.JPG (32059 bytes)Named after the Chinook winds of the Bay area, Diablow is just as warm and irresistible. He's a sporty, little guy - eager to meet the world and ready for action. With his dam's strong personality and his sire's prize-winning fiber genes he is a safe bet for a foundation animal and possible herdsire. As a juvenile in the Santa Fe AOBA show, he took a 4th in his tough class. But that didn't satisfy him. He went on to earn a 1st place at Estes Park under Judge Mike Safley ( who commented about his fleece's very nice handle). He's following in his sire's winning footsteps. If color, good fleece coverage, strong physical constitution and genetic make-up are on your list of criteria, consider Diablow. He's a diamond in the rough!

cho-mod.jpg (32882 bytes)

Chopin

ID A167014
Male
DOB 7/4/96
Sire: Fantasy's Dickens
Dam: Tina's Bluebell

Price: $1,500
Like his name implies Cho makes beautiful music in our barnyard. His gentle nature sets the tone for the pasture. He's in training now to carry a light pack for picnic lunches. Gelded but as watchful over the girls as ever. He's the main man in this crew.

milo.jpg (34766 bytes)

   JF Milagro

ID 818872
Male
DOB 10/15/99
Sire: PP Monzon
Dam: Krystal
Color: Beige/light fawn

Price: $1,500
Always the first at the fence Milo enjoys human animals as much as they enjoy him. He's a favorite marcher in our La Veta Pet Parade, but that's not all...Milo has delightful fiber - soft and made for a handspinner's fingers. He's a sweet boy and gelded to retain his quality fiber.

ID# 211992
Female Llama
DOB 12/21/98
Sire: Senor Guillermo
Dam: MW Suca
Color: Light Brown

Price: $2000
(bred to Santana due 4/03)

As sweet as her name, Sugar Plum is a very stretchy, medium wooled beauty with a pedigree as long as she is tall. She's been in hiding at Half Moon Bay for awhile, but is now ready to produce some top-of-the-line crias. Her first baby out of Indian Peak's Santana is due in April.

Awards:
2nd Medium Wool Halter
LOCC Spring Event

Patino's Pistol Pete

ID# 213551
Male Llama
DOB 9/2/99
Sire: Patino's Pride
Dam: Bros Orcas Lady
Color: Grey Brown/Reddish Brown

Price: $900 (priceless in our book)
Purple Pete we call him. In the evening light he looks like a lavender llama. His fiber is fun to spin and blend. He's an almost trained pack llama as well - but we don't tell him that. He'd rather be at the hay stack with the rest of the boys.  A great companion for walks. He's been gelded to keep his mind on his work.
